Is it just me, or did October sneak up on us?

The Fall semester has truly begun with midterms are around the corner. We at RAFO hope you have settled into the new school year – one that RU has already stated is historic for the school with largest Freshman enrollment, and one that has started with a flurry here at RAFO.

I want to thank everyone who participated in our officer elections, everyone who voted to ratify our new collective bargaining agreement, and all who attended our fifth annual Adjunct-2-Adjunct with special gratitude to organizers Cindy Eisenhart, Ami Hicks, and Jen Wilson.

Watch this space for more from RAFO. The official contract signing is October 17, which will also be our Fall meeting with President Malekzhadeh – and an opportunity to let us ask questions you may have for Ali. We are planning to attend a Roosevelt Lakers football game in November –  and would love to see you there! RAFO plans to host a holiday reception during Finals Week at the downtown campus to celebrate the close of a productive and historic term for the adjunct faculty union.
