To make your return to work a little sweeter, we have a couple of opportunities for you!

• First, in June, we alerted you to the Writing on the Edge 2018 conference taking place at the College of DuPage on Saturday, October 20. We hope that some of you submitted presentation proposals!
  
  The fee for the conference is $35. We feel that this is an excellent opportunity for professional development and are offering to reimburse ten attendees. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to let us know that you intend to attend the conference and, after attending, submit a one paragraph summary and response about your conference experience. Because we are funding a limited number of participants, it is essential that you email us to reserve your space as soon as possible.

• Second, we have seven tickets available for the Common lecture during the American Dream conference on Thursday, September 13, 2018! Tickets are normally $25 each.
